About Secret Physique Studio

Owner of Secret Physique Studio and class instructor, Jenny Anania, grew up dancing with her 2 older sisters and later moved on to competitive dancing. She danced at college and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Business. Jenny then became a New England Patriots Cheerleader. Her first year on the team they went to the Super bowl and won, their first ever, and she now is a proud owner of a super bowl ring. She modeled for calendars and catalogs while cheering for the Patriots, and also appeared in an NFL Countdown commercial. Jenny danced at Coyote Ugly in Boston, and at three annual Sturgis bike weeks in South Dakota. She was the Full Throttle's billboard model for 2004.

Jenny decided to move to Los Angeles to further her career in dance. She soon joined the Purrfect Angelz, an LA based performance dance troupe, which gave her the opportunity to travel all over the country performing for many different venues including: trade shows, sporting events, X Games, music videos, music award shows, and charitable functions.

Her passion for fitness led her to become a fitness model and appear in magazines and workout videos such as Crunch Fitness, Men's Health Magazine, Fit Tv, Body by Jake, and The Firm.

Also while in LA, Jenny learned about a new fitness method that many celebrities, and aspiring actors and actresses were using to slim down and tone up. The technique combined ballet, pilates and yoga, and would totally reshape their bodies, creating a sleek, dancer´s body. She was amazed at the results, and fell in love with this unique workout that she found to be different than any other. Jenny then moved home to be closer to her family, and share this Secret she found by opening Secret Physique Studio. Since opening her studio she was chosen as a Lululemon Athletica Ambassador for the following year. She looks forward to taking part in their community events, and sharing their manifesto with others.

Secret Physique Studio Instructors

Kerry Keene

Kerry grew up in East Bridgewater, MA, dancing, playing sports and riding horses. She always worked out to stay in shape, but it wasn’t until her college years and later, during her jobs in marketing, that Kerry found herself really needing stress relief and a sense of balance. Noticing the difference between a day with exercise and a day without, she realized that exercise had to become a part of her daily life.

Over the years, she has discovered that true fitness is more than just physical, and involves body, mind and spirit as a whole. The release she gets from working out, gives her a sense of calm, and keeps her centered and feeling great. And as the mother of two young children, that can make a big difference in a day!

When her sister, Jenny, moved home from LA and introduced her to the “method”, Kerry was immediately hooked. She was so impressed by how this mind-body workout gave her even more energy than her usual workouts, and loved the changes it made to her body. She even noticed enhanced strength and flexibility during her yoga practice. Kerry is thrilled to have the opportunity to learn, and now teach this method. She is looking forward to sharing her love of health and fitness at Secret Physique, and hopes to motivate and inspire others.

Kerry holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and is an ACE certified Group Fitness Instructor.

Liz Gottbrecht

Liz grew up in Hanover, MA as a competitive gymnast. A career-ending injury prompted her to discover her passion for dance and yoga while in college, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and founded the club gymnastics team. Returning to Boston after graduation, Liz balances her career in business and her love of gymnastics as a coach and choreographer. She also continues to dance at Jeannette Neill Dance Studio and professionally with Northern Lights Entertainment.

Always on the lookout for new experiences, Liz learned about the method from its popularity in New York and LA, but struggled to find such a class in Boston. When Secret Physique Studio opened its doors in her hometown, she was ecstatic to find it a natural fit. From the first class, she was delighted to find a high-energy workout that combined dance and the conditioning she desired, without the impact of gymnastics. She left with an overwhelming need to tell everyone she knew about this discovery and the opportunity to teach. Fusing her love of dance, gymnastics and yoga with her experience as a coach, Liz looks forward to sharing her enthusiasm as an instructor at Secret Physique.

Chrissy Landry

Chrissy always strives for a healthy, well-balanced lifestyle. At the early age of 3, she discovered her passion for dancing. Growing up in Norwell, MA, Chrissy dedicated her life to both her education and classical ballet training. Her commitment to ballet paid off shortly after high school, when she was offered a position as a Corps de Ballet dancer for the Boston Ballet. Chrissy pushed forward with enthusiasm and, despite some injuries, performed in numerous productions including Swan Lake, Don Quixote, Romeo & Juliet, Giselle, and of course, The Nutcracker.

After multiple stress fractures in her feet and two ankle surgeries, Chrissy decided to hang up her pointe shoes and complete her Bachelors Degree in Business Management and Marketing. Chrissy's hard work led her into the corporate world and is currently working in Marketing for an Investment Management firm in Boston. At first it was difficult for her to balance a career in business with a fitness routine. She tried working out at a gym, but quickly learned that treadmills, squats, and heavy weight training were not for her. Chrissy then switched over to pilates and yoga and noticed an immediate mind-body connection, something she had thrived on while dancing.

After hearing about the "Method" from her friend, and fellow instructor, Liz, Chrissy immediately fell in love with this intense, dynamic workout. She especially likes how the exercises maintain her dancer-like body and are no-impact, thus therapeutic for her previous ballet injuries. Her technical training and passion for fitness make her an ideal fit for teaching this new method to others. Chrissy is so excited to be teaching now at Secret Physique. She hopes you enjoy taking her class as much as she enjoys teaching it!
